INSTALLER

Seeking an experienced full-time marine installer.

Position is full time, with medical/dental and Simple IRA. Salary DOE.

Essential Functions

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs unassisted, and work in a high-noise environment.
  • Troubleshoot, install, service and repair systems on recreational and commercial powerboats and sailboats.
  • Install GPS, chart plotters, fish finders, radar, autopilots, VHF radios, stereos, satellite communication systems, A/V systems (Garmin, Furuno, Raymarine, Simrad, Lowrance, KVH, Intellian, Icom, Mastervolt, Victron, FLIR, Fusion, etc.).
  • AC and DC electrical wiring AC and DC panels, systems, troubleshooting/repair.
  • Install/service/troubleshoot batteries, chargers, inverters.
  • Bench work/soldering/component assembly.
  • Transducer installation/service.

Basic Skills

  • PC Navigation systems installation/service.
  • NMEA 0183/2000 wiring.
  • Light fabrication/woodworking/fiberglass/paint as necessary to fit electronics.
  • Aloft work on electronics and lights.
  • Sea trials for equipment calibration and testing.
  • Customer training/orientation.
  • System design and documentation (schematic drawings).
  • Adheres to safety standards during preparation, repair and maintenance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

  • Demonstrate knowledge of ABYC standards for wiring
  • Demonstrate knowledge of U.S. Coast Guard requirements for safety systems
  • Strong attention to detail, self-directed, and organized
  • Analytical, problem-solving abilities and competent technical skills
  • Process oriented
  • Adaptability, willing to learn and be a team player
  • Proactive approach to prevent injuries and equipment damage
  • Solid manual dexterity, good hand-eye coordination
  • Good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

  • NMEA, ABYC, or electronics manufacturer certifications

MARINE MECHANIC

Seeking an experienced marine mechanic with verifiable skills.

Position is full time, with medical/dental and Simple IRA. Salary DOE.

Essential Functions

  • Must be able to lift 50lbs unassisted, and work in a high-noise environment.
  • Perform service repair work on marine engines and drive systems using hand and power tools along with technical manuals
  • Inspect, analyze and troubleshoot marine engines to identify problems or potential problems on gas and diesel engines
  • Maintenance and repair duties may also address other marine systems

  • Experience in marine mechanical service and repair

RIGGER

Seeking an experienced rigger.

Position is full time, with medical/dental and Simple IRA. Salary DOE.

Essential Functions

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs unassisted, and work in a high-noise environment.
  • Perform repair work on all forms of rigging, mast rebuilds, design of line management systems and other related work
  • Test vessels final rig tuning
  • Splicing lines
  • Commission and decommission boats, new and used
  • Awareness of how rigging functions and performance optimization
  • Knowledge of boat systems, including deck hardware, lazy-jacks, electrical, networking (N2K, NMEA 0183), plumbing
  • Adhere to safety standards during preparation, repair, and tuning
  • Maintenance and repair duties may also address other marine systems

Basic Skills

  • Experience in marine rigging (rod, wire, high modulus rigging), rig tuning, and repair
  • Experience building furlers
  • Strong attention to detail, self-directed, and organized
  • Analytical, problem-solving abilities and competent technical skills
  • Adaptability, willing to learn and be a team player
  • Proactive approach to prevent injuries and equipment damage
  • Solid manual dexterity, good hand-eye coordination
  • Good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

GENERAL YARD ASSISTANT

Seeking an general yard assistant..

Positions is full time, with medical/dental and Simple IRA. Salary DOE.

Essential Functions

  • Entry level position
  • Wash vessels in preparation for departure
  • Regular cleaning of work spaces, trash cans.
  • Forklift operations for cleaning, and assisting where needed
  • Operate electric or propane sweepers
  • Minimal operation of onsite boom truck
  • Proper maintenance and storage of Ladders, hoses, extension cords
  • Driver’s License and ability to drive for parts pick up
  • Provide extra hands in assisting co-workers
